Scholarscape is a professional tutoring service, specialising in English Literature and Language for GCSE. We offer focused support for students to help enhance their learning and understanding of the syllabus. Founded by experienced teacher, tutor and examiner, Camilla; Scholarscape offers students the chance to really shine and achieve their very best.
What makes Scholarscape different?
A unique perspective
In addition to her teaching experience, our founder Camilla has been on examining boards for over ten years. This includes the AQA English GCSE - Camilla has personal insight into what the examiners are expecting to read. In this way Scholarscape can provide invaluable support for students in exam mastery.
A diverse offering
Every student learns differently, and what might work for one person may not for another. Our tutors are experienced and, most importantly, qualified teachers! They have experience in providing structured guidance for students and know how they learn best.
Our small group sessions offer the diversity of a range of viewpoints that come with small group learning and give students the space to think and consider ideas, away from the classroom.
All of our tutors have experience in marking and providing feedback and are DBS checked.
Meet our founder
Camilla is an experienced teacher, with over 24 years' experience in a variety of settings, including state schools, prestigious private schools, and alternative provisions. With a BA, MA and PGCE in English Studies, she specialises in English tuition, but has also taken on leadership roles such as Head of Year, Pastoral Leader, and Deputy Head. Alongside her experience within schools, Camilla has experience as a private tutor and GCSE English examiner. As such, she has worked with many different students across a wide range of ages and abilities.
