About Scholarscape
Scholarscape Education is a professional online tutoring service, specialising in GCSE and iGCSE English Literature and Language. We offer focused support for students, helping enhance their learning and understanding of the syllabus. Founded by experienced teacher, tutor and examiner Camilla Beecham, Scholarscape offers students the chance to shine and achieve their very best in their exams.

A unique perspective
Our founder Camilla is not only a dedicated teacher and tutor; she has over ten years’ experience on examining boards, including AQA English GCSE. Her professional insight into what examiners are expecting to read helps Scholarscape to provide invaluable exam mastery tips to students.
Qualified tutors
Our tutors are all qualified teachers and have many years of experience in teaching young people. Empathetic and highly personable, they are experts at providing structured guidance that allows for students to learn in their own way.
Additionally, all of our tutors have experience in marking and providing feedback on assignments, and are DBS checked.
A diverse offering
Wherever you are on your GCSE / iGCSE journey - from just starting out in Year 10 to intensive pre-exam prep – our small group sessions offer diversity and insight that can’t be gained from solo revision alone. Small group learning allows tor a range of viewpoints to be shared, with the space and time to give each one thought and consideration.
Meet our founder
Camilla Beecham founded Scholarscape Education in 2024 to help students sit their English exams with confidence. The company came about in response to her own observations that in-classroom teaching is often not enough for students to feel totally at ease in taking their exams, with large group sizes leave little room for tailored learning approaches.
With a BA, MA and PGCE in English Studies, teaching students English really is Camilla’s métier. She has over 24 years of hands-on teaching in a variety of settings, including state schools, prestigious private schools, and alternative provisions, along with leadership roles such as Head of Year, Pastoral Leader, and Deputy Head, and extensive experience as a private tutor and GCSE English examiner.
Camilla has worked with students across a wide range of ages and abilities, and is an expert at recognising and encouraging different learning styles. Attuned to complex needs, flexible and adaptable, Camilla’s support-based approach encourages young people to fully engage with the GCSE English syllabus.
